Rules
& Conditions...
- No
lifeguard is present, therefore children are the sole responsibility of the
adult who accompanies them.
- Never leave
children unaccompanied in the pool building at any time.
- All children
under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times when using
the pool.
- At least one
adult in each party must be a competent swimmer.
- The deep end
is 6ft. 6ins. deep - non swimmers and young children should remain in the
shallow end. Care should be taken that small children are not carried into
the deep end by the swim jet current.
- No diving. (Risk
of neck injury)
- No running.
- No glass in
pool hall under any circumstances. (Broken glass necessitates draining the
pool)
- Peter and Nia
Jennings and family accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to property
or injury to persons. Anyone visiting Longburgh Pool is advised to insure
against appropriate risks.
- The facilities
at Longburgh Pool are for the benefit of all our guests, any person misusing
these facilities will not be invited back.
- Visitors are
advised not to swim alone.
- The maximum
number of swimmers is 8
- For
safety reasons we do not allow birthday parties.
- The
fish pond outside the pool building is very deep and potentially dangerous
to young children.
Swimming
pools are dangerous places -please supervise children at all times when using
the pool.
Acceptance
of the above shall be a condition of use of the pool.
Please
sign a safety form, found in the entrance lobby at the pool, to accept the above
rules and conditions.
